Water Street Coffee Bar was an exciting concept I came up with while brainstorming new culinary concepts with a local restauranteur looking for new ideas.

This unique concept would be a coffee shop by day, serving pastries and breakfast items, and a full bar at night, featuring an assortment of baked goods, salads and handhelds.

Excited by the concept, I immediately began working on the branding and identity. The identity needed to be classy and contemporary, reflecting the young, vibrant and affluent neighborhood of Water Street. The logo also needed to clearly communicate that the Bar was open in the daytime and nighttime. To tie in with the biggest feature of the neighborhood, I brought in the waves of the nearby water to represent the steam coming from the cup.
