Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon, Florida came to me needing a full branding refresh. They felt their existing branding had become stale and outdated and the hospital wanted branding that was reflective of the major improvements and expansions going on throughout the hospital.

In creating this refresh, I needed to create branding that was not only new and fresh but also recognizable to the community with elements of the previous logo. I also needed to stay within the guidelines of the HCA West Florida Division branding (which I had created and was responsible for).

To include elements of the Division branding, which relied heavily on a wave-inspired graphic, I brought in the light blue wave, while keeping the oval, blue, yellow and white colors of the original hospital logo. The logo type was set up according to the standards that I had established for the entire Division.

The new branding was an immediate success and ushered in a fantastic revival for the hospital, with massive improvements and double-digit gains in community perception.

BRANDON REGIONAL HOSPITAL SPECIALTY SERVICES ADVERTISING
While establishing a new logo, signage and branding for the hospital, the brand refresh needed to be completely integrated across all marketing – print, outdoor and online.
The objective was to establish and define a consistent look for all of the hospital's outstanding individual service lines, but that was unique and instantly recognizable as the hospital, while being memorable and boosting engagement and elevating brand presence.

New Pediatric Emergency Center Logo and Campaign
For the Hospital's New Pediatric ER Campaign, I wanted to come up with something that was colorful and eye-catching, instantly identifiable as an expansion for children, while also representing the incredible growth of the hospital.

The branding was colorful and fun, and the handprint was established as a symbol of youth and health, with the concept that the kids would put their handprints on the walls of the hallway of the ER as they were released from care.
